MASTER SARINA'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Assistant & Trainee Instructors
Assistant Instructors are adult black belts who are certified to teach Tang Soo Do. Our two assistants are Mr. Matt Wattoff and Mrs. Stephanie Stoneham.
Trainee instructors are black belts who are learning how to teach Tang Soo Do. We have four trainee instructors: Anthony, Kaydence, Mackenzie, and Saif.
The Leadership Team attends a monthly lecture to learn things like the proper way to discipline bad behavior or how to interact with students on the Autism spectrum, and also to discuss situations and ask questions.
Students Learning to Instruct
STAR Students (Support Team Always Ready) are color belt students who assist in class regularly. They help with everything from holding target pads, to demonstrating proper technique, to showing new students how to spar. They are also responsible for helping keep the do-jang clean and tidy. STAR students hope to one day become trainee instructors.
Our STARs are: Amir, Athenz, Seth, and Skylar.
STARs attend a monthly lecture to begin learning how and practicing how to teach things, and to learn the best ways to interact with students.
