Students Learning to Instruct
Trainee Instructors are black belts who are learning how to teach Tang Soo Do. They have been assisting with classes for at least 2 years, most of them for longer. Their responsibilities include working one-on-one with color belt students, demonstrating proper technique, and helping keep the do-jang clean. They are mentored by the Master Instructors and the Assistant Instructors.
Our Trainee Instructors are Anthony H., Kaydence B., and Bill F.
STAR Students (Support Team Always Ready) are students who regularly assist in class. They help with everything from holding target pads, to demonstrating proper technique, to showing new students how to spar. They are also responsible for helping keep the do-jang clean. STAR students train hard and soak up knowledge to one day become Trainee Instructors.
Our STARs are: Mackenzie C., Faith V., Athenz H. and Skylar A.
